The United Nations takes a pivotal role in fostering the freedoms of religion or belief (FoRB) worldwide. Through legal channels, the UN strives to ensure that individuals and groups may to practice their convictions freely and in the absence of coercion. Moreover, the UN extends aid to states in strengthening their legal and institutional structu
